NHS PRACTICE
My work in the public sector.
A competent and sympathetic general paediatrician, I am head of children’s asthma and chronic lung disease at Barts Health NHS Trust (based at the Royal London Children's Hospital) and lead the North East London STP community asthma improvement programme. Part of a team of four consultants and one academic professor, with a fantastic multi-disciplinary team, I provide specialist respiratory services to North East London and Essex, including the regional Cystic Fibrosis service. Part of Barts Health NHS Trust, the largest hospital organisation in Europe, the iconic Royal London Children's Hospital sits in the heart of East London. Founded in 1740, it was rebuilt in 2012 to form an instantly recognisable part of the East London skyscape.
